dethpicable asked: Me and a friend had a massive fight. At first, I thought it was her fault, but then she explained it to me, and now I don't know anymore. It's unbelievably awkward now and :/ I've been told to just leave her alone, but I went and spoke to her, and now I've opened a massive door to be friends again. But her explanation made me see all the bad I'VE done, what I could have done better, what I should have done. But I don't know. I'm just ranting now. I feel really bad and guilty and just blargh.

If you really, truly feel like it is your fault, then just try apologizing. If it’s still awkward and weird, you will have to move on. You can apologize, but it’s her choice to accept it, and if she doesn’t, there’s nothing you can do about it. There’s hardly a place where “could have” and “should have” make any difference, think about what you can do now to make it better. If she rejects your attempts to make it better, then you tried, and you can’t force her to accept your apology. I hope everything turns out okay. (Also, sorry it took forever to respond to this, I had a lot of work over the past few days. Keep smiling!)
